Accounts and eligibility
TruceWell is intended for adults who are a parent or legal custodian in a co-parenting arrangement, and for the attorneys and legal staff who work with them. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Each family organizes its parenting work in a single case; both parents are included in that case.
Subscription and billing
TruceWell is billed to the family. One case subscription is $12 per month, includes both parents, and can be cancelled at any time. Legal teams who join a case work at no additional cost to the family. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis and are subject to applicable taxes. If you cancel, access continues through the end of the period you have paid for. We may update pricing with reasonable notice; the price you paid applies for the period you have already paid.
Your records and content
You and the other parties in a case own the content you and they post in TruceWell, including messages, documents, schedules, and requests. You grant TruceWell a license to store, process, and display that content only as needed to provide the service to you. You can export your records at any time. TruceWell does not guarantee that its records will be accepted as evidence or admissible in any proceeding; how records are treated is up to the courts and the people who bring them.
Acceptable use
- Use TruceWell only for the family case it was created for, and only lawfully.
- Do not use it to harass, threaten, or abuse the other parent, the children, or anyone else.
- Do not upload or share content you have no right to share, and do not use it to dox, defame, or retaliate against others.
- Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt TruceWell or gain unauthorized access to it.
Messages in TruceWell are subject to automated moderation described in the Privacy Policy. We may flag, hold, or remove content that violates these rules or the law, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service.
Automation and tone-awareness
TruceWell uses automated analysis to support calm, reviewable communication — for example, flagging messages that appear angry, hostile, or likely to escalate, and summarizing activity for the timeline. This automation supports moderation and organization; it is not a substitute for your judgment, and it does not determine legal outcomes. You remain responsible for what you send.
No legal services
TruceWell provides case-management software. It does not provide legal services or legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship with TruceWell. When you have a legal question, talk to your own attorney.
Termination
You can stop using TruceWell at any time by cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate an account if it breaks these Terms or the law, and we may suspend service to fix problems or respond to legal requests. Sections that should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability, and governing law) do survive.
Disclaimers and liability
TruceWell is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that records will be produced in time for any deadline. To the extent allowed by law, TruceWell and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability from any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important to you.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will give you notice in the service before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you agree to the updated Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which TruceWell is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you agree to that court's jurisdiction.
